How to use it
- Split an L-shaped or irregular room into rectangles and enter each one.
- Add a triangle or circle for bay windows, round patios or angled corners.
- Leave unused boxes at 0.
- Optionally add a price per square foot to estimate flooring, sod or paving cost.
How it works
Rectangle: length × width. Triangle: base × height ÷ 2. Circle: π × (diameter ÷ 2)². Then: 1 yd² = 9 ft², 1 m² = 10.764 ft², 1 acre = 43,560 ft².
Measure wall to wall at floor level and round up to the nearest inch; for materials, add a waste allowance on top (see the flooring and tile calculators).
