How to use it

- Add 10% waste for straight lays, 15% for diagonal or herringbone.

- Read the boxes to buy and the material cost.
How it works
Material to buy = area × (1 + waste %), rounded up to whole boxes. Keep one spare box for future repairs; dye lots and product lines change.
FAQ
How much extra flooring should I buy?
Around 10% for standard installs and 15-20% for diagonal or patterned layouts or rooms with many corners.
Does underlayment need the same amount?
Usually the room area plus a little overlap; it is sold by the roll with its own coverage.
